Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (February 27th, 1807 - March 24th, 1882) was an American poet whose works include "Paul Revere's Ride", “The Song of Hiawatha”, and “Evangeline”. He was one of the most popular American poets of his day.

Alex A. Blum was an illustrator best known for his tremendous contributions to the Classics Illustrated series. He illustrated 25 titles within that series, as well as the debut title to the Classics Illustrated Junior series - "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".
