When you, your kids, or friends are going stir-crazy or on the verge of being bored out of your skull—turn to the more than one hundred cool activities featured in this book to keep kids moving and engaged and friends laughing and amused. Who wouldn't want a book that makes their kids smarter, more creative, and more self-reliant using items you don't have to buy from a store? Many of the fun, cool, and creative ideas inside will help make long waits with the kids more bearable and keep them physically active as well—which adds up to less stress for you and more fun for the kids. While many of the activities can be done independently, they also give parents, aunts, uncles, and babysitters great ideas for interacting with their kids. These games will amuse your adult friends as well, providing the perfect cure for those moments when you're stuck in traffic, waiting for a table at a restaurant, entertaining at home, or off on a weekend adventure. Just whip out this book and become the life of the party. Sample games: * Newlywed Game—Find out how much people know about their friend, parents, or kids. Quiz them separately about each other's likes and dislikes. * Cell Phone Photo Scavenger Hunt—Use your cell phones to find items around the house, restaurant, or hotel. Parents can make themed lists, timed games, best 2 of 3, even get the adults to play. * Finish the Face—draw a shape and have the person next to you add to it until complete.
